Grain Superintendent
A highly respected and progressive agricultural operation is seeking a Grain Superintendent to oversee operations at a regional location. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient grain handling, storage, and distribution while leading a team and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Grain Superintendent Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the planning and direction of facility operations.
- Ensure daily operations meet all industry standards and operational schedules.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments of grain, managing logistics and deliveries.
- Supervise and mentor a team while promoting safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee inventory management, quality control, and storage procedures.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs of the facility as needed.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in grain elevator operations or management.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and capable of meeting operational deadlines.
- Mechanical skills and knowledge of grain handling equipment are a plus.
- CDL preferred, must have a clean driving record.
